The March 2026 Community Open House took place at the Hub at Cowichan Station and brought together community members and planning team and G2G members alike to discuss the planning process and possible solutions for the watershed. Browse the visuals created for the event below!
Sector Specific Engagement: Agriculture
Planning Team and Support Staff host a workshop for local farmers to Provide an update about the Plan and the work that has been completed to date.

Cheyenne Williams and Rae Failing attend the CVRD Climate Gathering! An opportunity to share our work and learn from others working on climate related initiatives.
Lab to Land:
The BC Agriculture Climate Action Research Network organized an online workshop focused on climate adaptation and mitigation research in the BC agriculture sector.
This was an opportunity to showcase the Koksilah process to adverse audience of researchers, farmers, industry, and policymakers.

Summer 2023- Cowichan Tribes and community members were encouraged to apply for membership local advisory groups.

Watershed Tour-The Planning Team, subject matter experts, representatives from local, provincial and Cowichan Tribes Government, community members, CWB and Mosaic representatives toured the watershed to learn together, about the diverse watershed interests and activities occurring in the Koksilah.
