Maya Guttman-Technical Facilitator
Maya is passionate about helping people come together in meaningful ways to build relationships and create change. She works alongside Natasha and Rae at a small firm called Compass supporting groups in collaborative decision-making. Having learned from teachers in ecology and Indigenous-led stewardship, she is constantly learning about the complexities of interrelated social and ecological systems. In her role as a technical planning facilitator with the Xwulqw'selu planning process, she holds space for diverse ways of knowing and being in decision-making processes and governance structures. She brings skilled facilitation, ecological understanding, and continuous self-reflection to her work.
Maya got involved in the Xwulqw'selu in 2023. She's honored to learn from the watershed and the many species and people who call it home!
