Ariane Comeau is a Land and Resource Specialist with the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship. She is a Registered Professional Biologist with background in the non-profit sector working towards environmental conservation, restoration, monitoring, and public engagement. She is originally from Montreal, but now lives in Nanaimo which lies on the traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation.
Ariane is passionate about the natural world and has dedicated her career towards protecting it and engaging people in doing so. She is privileged to be part of the planning team for the Koksilah Watershed Plan, and she hopes that the journey and outcome of the planning process brings the greatest harmony possible for the local communities and the ecosystems.
